Indigenous Commitment

WARGL have a strong commitment to employing Indigenous personnel. We continually develop relationships with Pilbara based and Australia wide Indigenous groups.

WARGL strive for an initial 30% of our staff originating from Indigenous Australian groups.  With our future target set at 50% Indigenous workforce, we are continually training and developing local Indigenous personnel.

Mitch is a traditional land owner from the Gnaala Karla Booja group with connections to Ballardong, Southern Noongar and Whadjuk people through his ancestors.

WARGL continually seek engagement with Indigenous entities and communities to work together for the benefit of all parties. Our aim is to provide opportunities and pathways for positive sustainable benefit and genuine improvement to members of these communities.
